Mothers that are addicted to drugs often times are ashamed of themselves but they feel helpless and unable to beat their addiction. It is important to know that drug addiction is a problem that many people throughout the world face.

How to help a drug addicted mother overcome addiction
If the individual understands that they do have a problem, admitting that problem is the first step to rehabilitation. The recovery process will be tough and challenging but you can overcome drug addiction. If you seek help from the right sources, you will be able to learn how to kick the habit. You should have a support system. The support system can be composed of family members, friends, members of a church, or a therapist. Admitting yourself into a drug rehabilitation center is another big step on the road to recovery. As a mother, you have to make the right decision for yourself and your child.
Helping a drug addicted mother Stop drug abuse
I know that a lot of addicted mothers that can not stop drug abuse because they are afraid that if they go to rehab they will get their child taken away from them. I tend to believe that if they do not stop using drugs there is a real good chance they will lose their children anyway. If a mother does happen to get a child taken away then usually when something like this happens you will have to jump through a lot of hoops to even be able to visit them and you could actually lose them permanently. Where I live the courts encourage mothers to get help to overcome drug addiction. Here’s another thing I wonder what they think will happen end up with a prison sentence if or they overdose and die.
Addicted mothers may qualify for state run drug rehab for free
There is many places drug abusing mothers can go for help. If you are an addicted mother I would suggest that you go to some sort of drug rehab and learn how to overcome addiction.
There a lot of drug rehabs out there that can help the salvation army is a good place to look. Now if you can not afford to go to rehab they more than likely can point you to a State or government drug rehab that helps mothers that qualify for free.
If your children are really important to you then why not start getting some drug addiction help now before it becomes to late.
Ok then for mothers that do not have anyone to look after there child if they need to go to rehab you can still stop using drugs and recover from addiction for free. This can be done in a number of NA programs across the country when you can bring your children to some meetings. Usually these meetings will have other children to play with while you are in the meeting. Thats what NA is all about one addict helping another. I have personally been to a whole that of meetings that allowed children so now you have no more excuses to continue using get busy and do something for yourself and your babies.
Good luck
